Mangalam Agri is Group Mangalam’s agricultural vertical based out of Gujarat and Rajasthan, producing castor oil, mustard oil, soyabean oil and their derivatives, as well as, wheat, rice and ginning cotton. Mangalam Agri has oil manufacturing mills and grain mills based out of Bundi in Rajasthan and Bavla in Gujarat, which supply to customers all across the world.

Castor Oil

Castor oil is one of the main products of Mangalam Agri and category through which the company entered the agricultural sector. Castor Oil (FSG), PPG, Castor De-Oiled Cake (DOC) & High Protein Castor De Oiled Cake (Highpro DOC) manufacturing is one of the biggest agriculture segments of Mangalam Agri. With Gujarat producing over 86% of domestic castor seeds production, Mangalam Agri sources its seeds from Gujarat and Rajasthan and manufactures the products at its plant in Kapadvanj, Gujarat. Castor oil is one of the biggest export products of Mangalam Agri, majorly being sold to clients in China, Europe, Thailand, Turkey & USA, while the de-oiled cakes are exported to South Korea and Taiwan.

Rice & Wheat

Mangalam Agri has a rice and wheat foodgrains sorting unit in Bavla, Gujarat with state-of-the-art infrastructure that ensures hygienic sorting and packaging of our products. At the plant, the raw rice and wheat grains are sorted, graded and packed, to be sold both locally and to the international markets. The plant follows the strictest of norms in manufacturing to ensure that the quality of the foodgrains are never compromised.

While wheat is majorly sold in the domestic markets, rice is exported to countries in Africa and the Middle East. Mangalam Agri takes pride in maintaining great relations with all its clients spread across the world. It is this bond of trust and professionalism that helps the company grow by leaps and bounds.

Soya

Soyabean oil is one of the most widely consumed vegetable oils globally and with an 800 tonne crushing capacity unit based out of Bundi in Rajasthan, Mangalam Agri has an important stake in this industry in India. The processed soyabean oil manufactured at this plant is also used by the printing ink and oil paints industry. Another derivative, Soya De Oiled Cake (DOC), is used in animal feeds, principally as a protein supplement, but also as a source of metabolizable energy. Apart from that another derivative called lecithin’s industrial applications range from paints and coatings and plastics to cosmetics and magnetic tape media.

While the soyabean oil vertical majorly serves B2B clients, the group also has a B2C vertical, which now produces edible soyabean oil under the brand Lagnam for an ever growing consumer-base in North India.

Mustard

Mangalam Agri has also ventured into the manufacturing of mustard oil and mustard de oiled cakes (DOC). With a mustard oil manufacturing unit at Bundi in Rajasthan, Mangalam Agri manufactures refined mustard oil and kacchi ghani oil. The company has launched a B2C brand by the name Lagnam, which is a premium quality edible mustard oil for the North Indian markets.

Mangalam Agri's mustard oil plant currently has a crushing capacity of 500 tonnes per day and 100 tonnes per day for the kacchi ghani oil.

Cotton

Mangalam Agri owns and operates one of the largest cotton ginning plants in Gujarat. This ginning plant holds a production capacity of 400 bales per day. Everything at this facility, right from processing seed cotton (Kapas) into lint cotton, to pressing of cotton bales, is automated. The ginning and pressing activities are designed to keep the natural characteristics of cotton fibre and its strength intact. The fineness of cotton fibre and ginning specifications undergo strict scrutiny internally through stringent laboratory and technology checks.

The plant is equipped with seven double-chamber expellers to crush cotton seeds and produce the finest quality cattle food alongside crude cotton oil. With such modern machinery and expertise in cotton ginning, Mangalam Agri caters to a global clientele that seeks premium quality cotton products.
